Paul's letter to the Philippian church is something of a missionary thank you letter, but it is so much more than that. It is the sharing of Paul's secret life of Christian joy! 19 times in these 4 chapters, Paul mentions joy, rejoicing or gladness and we can't forget he was writing this from a Roman prison! We ask ourselves, how could he continue to have a joy that overflowed? As we study this amazing book, we will discover the secret is found in another word often repeated in Philippians and that is the word “mind”. The secret of Christian joy is found in the way the believer thinks. Philippians can be viewed as a Christian psychology book based solidly on biblical principles. It is a book that explains the mind the believer must have if she is going to experience Christian joy in a world filled with trouble.
During our time together we will explore the four chapters of Philippians where Paul describes four attitudes of the mind that will produce joy in spite of circumstances, people, and things and that we need not worry when times get tough.
On Saturday nights, our Women's Bible study meets for worship, to watch a video and then break into groups for a time of processing with one another. There will be a study guide to help you in your time alone with the Lord during the week.
God wants us to live loved when we feel left out, lonely, and less than.
In this six-session video Bible study, Lysa TerKeurst digs deep into God’s Word to help you explore the roots of rejection, the way other relationships get tainted because of a past rejection, and the truth about what it looks like to live loved. With biblical depth, gut-honest vulnerability, and refreshing wit, Lysa will take you on a visual journey in the Holy Land to some of the places where people of the Bible such as Hannah, David, and even Jesus lived and walked.
Lysa will help you and your group to enter a place of healing and new perspective, as well as a time for you to go to new places with Jesus and experience him like never before. Uninvited reminds us we are destined for a love that can never be diminished, tarnished, shaken, or taken—a love that does not reject or uninvite.
This study guide is packed with deep Bible teaching and includes guided video notes, group discussion questions, and between-sessions personal studies.

The Breathe Study Journal includes 5 sessions of teaching by Priscilla Shirer with 4 weeks of homework in a reflective, journaling format. One of the greatest challenges among women in our culture is taking time to stop and cease from all the activities and busyness and just breathe. We are in bondage to busyness. We constantly strive to complete the limitless to-do lists that hinder us from experiencing all that God has for us. We miss the moments because we rush ahead to the next thing. By neglecting time for tranquility, serenity, and repose, we limit our Christlikeness and miss out on some of God's greatest gifts. It is time for us to breathe and build margin into our lives for God. In the Old Testament, God instituted principles and laws that would transform the Israelites' mindset. He didn't just want them legally free; He wanted them to be able to walk in the freedom and enjoy it. So God gave them many gifts, including boundaries in which to enjoy those gifts. Sabbath was intended as a gift, and it is still a gift to us today. If you are weary, worn out, and exhausted the concept of Sabbath will change your life.
