Mini Camp

JULY 11-12, 2014


No time for homesickness…just an action-packed 24 hours, especially designed for your 1st and 2nd graders. This is just the right amount of time to introduce them to the camp experience. Campers will enjoy a “kid-friendly” message from Maegan Bruce. High energy Bible study and worship with the DBU Worship Team make this weekend extra special for our youngest campers. Preteen Camp

FORGIVEN! Come join us as we learn that God loves us, has rescued us, that we are made new, that we are hope-filled and free…we are forgiven! High energy Camp Pastor Keith Coast, along with the DBU Worship Team, will be communicating the love of God to our young campers. Be one of the first to join us!

Camp is designed and geared for the designated age group. Grade levels specified are for students who have completed these grades (3rd – 6th). Summer camp price of $245.00 includes t-shirt and transportation.

Please complete the form and return it with your deposit by April 27th. Be sure to mark your t-shirt size. Place attached form and your deposit in an envelope. You may return it to the church at: CrossRidge Church, P.O. Box 359, Little Elm, TX 75068, or give it to Sheila Wolfe, or turn it in to the Communications Desk.

Women's Conference

Our Spring Women's Conference is right around the corner. Guest, Sheila Walsh, a featured speaker with Women of Faith, will be speaking this weekend. She recently released a new book, The Storm Inside, and will have a book signing at the conference. Registration is now open. Sign up before March 16th and get a discounted price.

Online registration will close at 6:00pm, Friday, March 28th. After 6:00pm you need to register and pay at the door.

About Sheila Walsh

Sheila Walsh is an author, speaker, singer, and television personality with a fearless transparency that both inspires and encourages. Unafraid to share her own struggle with depression, Sheila has written over seventeen books ranging from Christian theology to Children’s literature. Her work focuses on relevant issues today, especially concerning women within the church and the unique relationship between the contemporary woman and God.

CrossRidge MOPS invites you to attend the annual Wee-Cycle Consignment Sale February 22, from 8:00 am-noon. This is a huge market of gently loved baby, children's and maternity items at unbeatable prices. Half-price sale is from 12:15-1:00 pm, and fill-a-bag for $5 is from 1:30-2:00 pm. All proceeds benefit the CrossRidge Mothers of Preschoolers ministry.

MOPS is also accepting donated items and seller registrations until Friday February 21st. For more info visit MOPS. Spaghetti Lunch

Stay late, get in line, grab a plate, and get ready to be served by some of finest students you will ever meet. On February 23rd, immediately after the 2nd service, Overflow students will be hosting a Spaghetti Lunch Fundraiser to help pay for summer camp.

There is no charge for the meal but we do ask that you make a resonable donation

Life Team Rally

Whether you are part of a Life Team or not, you are invited to the Life Team Rally on February 16th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. It's going to be a great time of rallying for God, hanging out, and eating great food.

Kids are welcomed to come but there will not be any childcare

Men will cross the widest valleys, tallest mountains, and sail the broadest seas and come together for just a few small strips of pan fried bacon goodness. There's just something special about the smell of bacon frying and few men are able to resist its siren call. On Saturday, February 1st, set out to meet with other men and prepare to dine on not just bacon but on food that is so good that it is not only acceptable but requested to be served for lunch and dinner as well. Join with other men for a spectacular morning of dining and fellowship. There is no cost for such a luxurious occasion but a small donation would be quite delightful.

Scavenger Hunt

We will meet at the church on Friday, January 24th at 6 pm. We will eat pizza then head out for our Scavenger Hunt. The winners will be determined and prizes will be awarded!  Students will be picked up from the church at 10 pm. Students must RSVP to the church office at 972-292-1953 x 307 or email Ms. Sheila at by Wednesday, January 22nd to ensure enough car space for everyone. We will travel in personal vehicles. Cost is $5 per child.
